What is Art-money?

Art-money is money - a note that measures 18x12 cm.
The value of an Art-money note is 200 Danish Krone or 27 Euros.

You can buy your Art-money here.

Each art-money is different, none is identical, that is what makes art-money a unique piece of art.
You can use this note to buy products and services. Look at www.art-money.org to find out about places that accept art-money as payment. I do accept art-money. If you have fallen in love with an oil painting that is worth 6.000 Danish Krone you can pay that amount with 15 pieces of art-money and 3.000 Krone. You can in fact save money if you collect art-money.

I create art-money because I use it as an experimentarium. Round about every second month I work with art-money. I use it as a playground, where everything is allowed. This leads to the use of lots of different material like oilchalk, pencil, water colour, acrylic, crayon on paper, oil on canvas, monotype, and ink. No means of expression is considered misleading. I am a great admirer of the art-money project because it gives everybody the chance to buy a unique and original piece of art for a modest pricing. At the same time I get into contact with a lot of people and can expand my customer base on the fly.

When you buy art-money the purchasing date is written on the back. I take note of your adress so I can invite you to exhibitions, performances or to a lecture of mine.

The value of a piece of art-money is continously increasing after the purchase and seven years on after. The final value is 500 Danish Krone or 67.50 Euros. Take a look at the rules on www.art-money.org
