Angsthase

I paint what I am concerned with. Nature, people and memories. Never standing alone, but always related to each other.
These paintings express my deepest feelings like fear, passion and love. In "Bangebuks" (Angsthase, coward) I describe the fear of losing as well as to be frightened of one's own actions. The wish to be in control as opposed to letting go and trust in life instead. In the painting "Et dyr blandt mange" (An animal amongst many) I have worked with the perception that I am after all just a part of nature, just like so much around me and that all living creatures deserve respect and love.
I have learnt a certain humbleness in relation to "other people" and experience at the same time that I feel a greater calmness in my existence. "Ingen geni uden kærlighed" (No genius without love) is a citation from a letter by Mozart to his friend Gottfried von Aquin.
