Says a smiling Max Greve, from Fyn, who some years ago, together with his wife, has bought a large painting from me.

To put up an original painting is a special experience.

When it hangs there on the wall you will look onto it with the same eyes that you have bought it with. You will once more estimate whether it was worth the price and whether it is hanging straight. How does it fit with the other things in the room, be it pictures or furniture. Maybe you had to sacrifice something else to have this painting up on the wall, or maybe you had to get rid of something to create better lighting. In the course of time you will look at your painting at different times of day. Sometimes your gaze will get caught because you discover something you never noticed before. On other times you will have a notion of your painting being like a good friend that you do not want to do without. Maybe you would even talk to the creatures on the canvas, thereby giving a completely new interpretation to the story on it. There will be friends, colleagues, family or customers who will comment on your painting.
